Steve Chamley 
Owner/Administrator

Steve has been a long term care administrator for 38 years, he has worked in numerous capacities. Steve has been a facility administrator and worked as a Chief Operating Officer for a LTC company, and has worn many hats. Steve's most recent role was at Northcrest Living Center in CB where he partnered with Mark and Doug since 2009. "I am proud to say as administrator I have achieved 7 deficiency free surveys. My passion is to make sure the residents here are priority one! Having a very open relationship with them is important, making them the decision maker or a stakeholder in Midlands is very important. I look forward to the fun and the challenges we will face as a facility."

Business Office Manager 

Marcie began working at Midlands Living Center in August 2003 as the Business Office Manager. Marcie’s primary responsibilities are payroll, billing, and taking care of residents’ funds, although she is willing to help wherever she is needed. Marcie believes that the caring staff, the residents, and their families are what make Midlands Living Center so special.

Jenny Goldman 
Billing Specialist

Jenny Goodman has worked as the Billing Specialist at Midlands since 2009. Jenny can answer any question relating to Medicare, Medicaid, and 3rd party insurance companies. She also works closely with all the Managed Care Organizations and Medicare Advantage programs in Iowa.

 Admissions Coordinator 

 Jenna began her employment with Midlands Living Center in September of 2018. As Admissions Coordinator, Jenna works with residents and their families to assure that they have a smooth transition to post-acute services or long term care if needed. She personally guides them through each step of the admission process and helps our seniors navigate the complicated world of Medicare and Insurance companies. Jenna is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Omaha School of Social Work and has a certification in Gerontology. She believes that local ownership is an important part in helping direct-care staff deliver the very best care for our seniors!

Tracy Busse, R.N
Director of Nursing Services

​Tracy is an experienced Registered Nurse who has worked in long term care management and supervision for over 20 years. She is a long-time Council Bluffs resident and a graduate of the Jenny Edmunson Hospital School of Nursing. Tracy says that working with the elderly and handicapped can present unique challenges, but also is a very rewarding area to practice in. She makes a difference in the lives of residents and in the lives of their families and loved ones! Tracy encourages our residents and their friends and family to contact her with questions or suggestions by phone or in person.

Activities Coordinator

​Aleeshia began her new duties leading the recreation and programming department in July of 2017. She has spent a number of years working in long term care as a certified nursing assistant and has been on staff here at Midlands since June of 2014. Her co-workers in our activity department include Donna Denning and Linda Christiansen.

 Dietary Manager 

 Angel's passion has always been long term care. Her first job was in the dietary department working for her mom, Pat at the age of 16. Angel will fill the shoes of her beloved Mother, Pat who was the dietary manager here from 2008 to 2011. Angel and her staff look forward to providing enjoyable meals and special events to the residents and families of Midlands Living Center!

Jordan Tjaden
Director of Human Resources
 
This is Jordan's first role within any healthcare organization; he quickly developed a passion and appreciation for providing dignified and quality care to each and every resident that calls Midlands Living Center home. He attended Doane College and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Management. Currently, he is pursuing his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) emphasizing in Healthcare Administration and Human Resources through Doane University. He enjoys the rewards and challenges that come from working in the long-term care industry. Recruiting and retaining the best staff in the area is his top priority!
